Written in the style of Sir Edward Creasy "Fifteen Decisive Battles of the World", The Twelve Great Battles of England describes the main battles won by England from the Middle Ages to the XIX Century. The battles presented at the book are: 1) Hastings; 2) Falkirk; 3) Bannockburn; 4) Crecy; 5) Poitiers; 6) Agincourt; 7) Blenheim; 8) Ramillies; 9) Talavera; 10) Salamanca; 11) Vittoria; and, of course, 12) Waterloo. A third of the book is dedicated to a detailed description of the Battle of Waterloo, the undisputed greatest victory of the British Empire of all times.
This edition if fully illustrated with maps of all battles.
