It is a collection of rules for playing with toy soldiers created by H. G. Wells and his friends. Beyond the rules, it has a chapter dedicated to the description of a battle using the rules, and also a comparison with Krigspiel, a popular war game played by the military of that time.
This edition has all the original illustrations and pictures of the 1913 edition.
